Silvaner Kabinett dry… clear fine herbal and slightly mineral citrus and stone fruit fragrance, with floral nuances. Polished, lusciously fine, not completely dry fruit, herbal tones, slightly earthy minerality in the background.

We have particularly fallen for the dry Spätlese wines. . . the Silvaner is wonderfully clear, powerful and gripping, with structure and substance.
2011 was a good year for Walter Erhard – this skilled wine grower let the Riesling and Silvaner Spätlese shine. In 2012 the Spätlese wines from the (Escherndorfer) Lump turned out very well.
A good 2012 range, with a mineral, dry Silvaner Spätlese from the Escherndorfer Lump vineyard.
Having travelled a lot to Würzburg and the surrounding region on business, I really enjoyed the local Frankenwein. I’ve never found Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau in the UK before… Well done!
No other wine will do for me, and I am petulant, if my usual favourite drink from Franconia is missing.
Obvious! Silvaner, and with this subtle fruityness, this wine can only be from the Lump vineyard…
This is my favourite wine region in Germany and the distinctive flavour of these dry, fruity wines is a must for any white wine aficionado!
It’s about time the Great British Public was introduced to the deliciously dry white wines of Franconia – truly long overdue!
Your wines are always a wonderfully welcome blessing – not least for my own private wine cellar ☺
