Good wine runs in the family

Froehlich family - Eschendorfer am Lumpen winery
The Fröhlich Family

Anyone looking for excellent Franconian dry white wines has come to the right place at Clemens Fröhlich’s family winery in Escherndorf. Here the constant drive to achieve wines with individual character has been rewarded again. For the third time it has received the ‘Bavarian State Prize of Honor’ – Bayerischer Staatsehrenpreis – proving its consistently excellent wine quality. Master winemaker Clemens, wife Ingrid and their four sons, as well as grandparents Helmut and Johanna have been working with enthusiasm and passion since 1987.

“Franconian Dry white wines are the trademark of this winery and all wines have been Vegan since 2019.”

Clemens Fröhlich, Master Winemaker

Key points:

  • Wines are Vegan and very dry, suitable for many diabetics

In addition to the classic white wine varieties, lovers will also find some rather exotic varieties for Franconia; the winery has already been awarded several Franconian gold medals for its Morio Muskat.
